A single strong aluminium stairlift rail is fixed to the stairs, not the wall, so there’s no need for disruptive structural work.
Narrower staircases are no problem for the Acorn 130, which has one of the most slimline carriage designs available.
Built-in safety features include a three-point self-tensioning seatbelt, auto-stop sensors and a locking swivel seat.

Suitable for use in external settings, the Acorn Outdoor stairlift is a fully weatherproofed version of its trusted 130 model.
Split-level outdoor space such as a terraced garden, raise decking, veranda or patio can all be overcome by the Acorn Outdoor Stairlift.
A fitted waterproof cover protects the carriage when not in use and the rail and fixings benefit from anti-corrosion coatings.
